Nyetimber Promotion – T&Cs
These are the terms and conditions (“Rules”) that apply to the ‘Cowdray Win A Magnum’ promotion (“Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to these Rules and confirms they have read and understood the Nyetimber Privacy Policy at https://nyetimber.com/privacy

  1. The promoter is Nyetimber Limited (a company with number 05509845) whose registered address is Nyetimber Vineyard, Gay Street, West Chiltington, Sussex RH20 2HH, Tel. +44 (0) 207 734 8490, Fax. +44 (0) 207 292 0841, www.nyetimber.com (“Nyetimber”).
    2. The Promotion is open to legal residents of England, Wales and Scotland only.
    3. The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Promotion:
    a. Nyetimber employees and individuals engaged by Nyetimber;
    b. members of their immediate family and/or household (whether related or not) to any of those individuals; and
    c. anyone else professionally involved with the operation or administration of the Promotion.
    4. All entrants must be over 18 to enter and be able to prove you are of legal age to drink if requested by Nyetimber.
    5. Entrants must enter by entering their details on the website page www.nyetimber.com/promotion.
    6. The competition closes at 11.59pm (UK time) on 31 December 2021.
    7. There is one prize a Magnum size bottle of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage.
    8. The winner will be picked at random from all eligible entries on or after 4 January 2022 and will be notified by email by 24 January 2022.
    9. We reserve the right to provide an alternative Prize(s) of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
    10. No purchase is necessary.
    11. No automated entries will be accepted.
    12. No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the Promotion, including in relation to the use of the internet.
    13. We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct.
    14. The Prize(s) is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
    15. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their Prize(s) from the date that they are contacted via social media with notification that they are a winner. After this time we reserve the right to select a new winner. The Nyetimber will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner, but it is the winner’s responsibility to monitor their social media account, including any junk folder, for receipt of notification.
    16. The decisions of Nyetimber are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    17. The Prize(s) will be delivered to the winner within a reasonable timescale after claiming the Prize(s).
    18. Personal Data:
    a. By taking part in this Promotion, all entrants consent to us collecting, storing and using their personal data submitted with their entry for the purposes of this Promotion, including as necessary in respect of the administration of the Promotion.
    b. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.
    c. Entrants have certain rights in relation to their personal data, including: (i) to obtain copies of it; (ii) to have it corrected or deleted; (iii) to limit the way in which it is used; (iv) to object to its use; (v) to transfer it; (vi) not to be subject to decisions based on automated processing (including profiling); and (vii) to complain to the regulator, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Entrants can find out how to raise concerns with the regulator on its website at https://ico.org.uk/concerns/ or by calling its helpline on 0303 123 1113. Please note that many data subject rights are not absolute and the extent to which they apply may vary depending on the circumstances and any exemptions that may apply.
    19. Liability
    a. Nyetimber will not be liable for: (i) any loss that is not caused by Nyetimber (or any person acting on Nyetimber’s behalf); (ii) any loss caused by any event or circumstance beyond Nyetimber’s reasonable control; (iii) any loss of profits or revenue, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill; or (iv) any unavailability of the Nyetimber or Glyndebourne website. However, nothing in these Rules limits or excludes any person’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for any matter for which it would be illegal to limit or exclude liability.
    b. In particular, consumers have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described and services which are not performed with reasonable care and skill and these legal rights are in addition to and are not affected in any way by anything contained in these Rules. Further advice about consumer rights is available from any local Citizens’ Advice Bureau (https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/) or local Trading Standards office (https://www.gov.uk/find-local-trading-standards-office).
    20. By entering this Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting Nyetimber using the contact details at the end of these Rules. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that Nyetimber may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant’s entry, to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. This may happen where Nyetimber is required to demonstrate that it has awarded the Prize(s) advertised. To request disclosure of winners’ details, enquirers must submit a request to info@nyetimber.com by 31 March 2022. Details will only be disclosed (if permitted by law) after the Prize(s) has been validly claimed.
    21. Nyetimber does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed. For example, as a result of network, system development, computer or telecommunications failures or fault of any kind – including any hardware, programming code, databases or software used in the Promotion.
    22. The winner may be required to participate in reasonable related publicity without further reward. e.g. be photographed for website/newspaper stories or provide a short statement about their win. Each entrant agrees that in the event of a win, Nyetimber will be able to use the winner’s name and image in connection with such publicity. Each entrant agrees that Nyetimber may share, publish or promote any image, video text or other content submitted or uploaded to any website in connection with this Promotion, on its corporate website, blogs or its Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account.
    23. Nyetimber reserves the right to vary, cancel or amend, without notice, this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control. In the event of cancellation, the Prize(s) may be awarded to a winner drawn from eligible entries received prior to cancellation.
    24. Entrants should be aware of the following inherent risks related to the consumption of alcohol:
    a. Alcohol should always be consumed in moderation;
    b. The Nyetimber sparkling wine bottles are heavy and extra care should be taken when lifting;
    c. Sparkling wines can be volatile due to the build-up of gas and extra care should be taken when uncorking, including angling the bottle away from the face and eyes.
    25. This Promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

    6. The competition closes at 11.59pm (UK time) on 2 December 2021.
    7. There are two prizes.
      1. The first consists of:
    • Three course meal for two people at Bluebird Chelsea, with a bottle of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage to share
      • Includes a three-course lunch or dinner for two people including a bottle of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee throughout December 2021. Booking is subject to availability and excludes Thursday, Friday and Saturday and key dates such as Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve
    • Two tickets for Hex at the National Theatre
      • National Theatre terms and conditions listed here
    • A magnum of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage
    • A Nyetimber Ice Bucket and Bottle Stopper
