Firmly rooted in our south-eastern homeland, we are committed to making a meaningful impact on our local communities, extending our support, guidance, and expertise wherever we can make a difference. We are honoured to collaborate with a select group of charities, environmental organisations, and educational partners across Sussex and the South of England, actively participating within our local community. We support these charities through a year-round program of fundraising and awareness-raising initiatives, recognising the invaluable services they provide to our region.
The South Downs National Park Trust is the official charity of the South Downs National Park, with a vision to protect and enhance valuable habitats for wildlife, and see more people able to access and enjoy their National Park. The SDNPT support high quality projects, informed by the South Downs Rangers, local communities, and environmental and heritage experts.
Deeply committed to nature, Nyetimber is honoured to help support and protect the very special region in which our vineyards lie. Over the years we’ve collaborated with The SDNPT on a number of creative campaigns, such as ‘Trees for the Downs’, for which we created 1000 special-edition bottles, and planted 1000 trees to commemorate the release. Working with landowners across the region, The SNDPT ‘Beelines’ project is helping establish wildflower corridors to support pollinators like bees and butterflies, contributing to crucial rewilding efforts in the South Downs. Nyetimber created a limited-edition gift set which included a bottle of Classic Cuvée MV and a ‘Beebombs’ sachet containing 18 species of native wildflower seeds for customers to sow in their gardens. For every gift set sold, Nyetimber donated £5 to the campaign. A total of £2,300 was raised. Proud of our partnership, we remain dedicated to supporting the South Downs National Park Trust’s vital work, and we continue to raise funds through exclusive events and open days.
As pioneers of quality English winemaking with decades of expertise, Nyetimber is honoured to open its doors to select wine and viticultural education bodies, sharing our knowledge in various disciplines and departments across integral teams and processes, from marketing and sales to vineyard and winery operations. We have designed and provided in-depth training packages for individual viticultural students and annually host ‘Educational Days’ at the Estate, which include tours of the Vineyard & Pressing Centre, core range tastings, talks from our Head of Sales (UK) and Head Viticulturist, and technical tastings with our Senior Winemaker.
We’re proud to have provided support and guidance to a select number of the UK’s highly esteemed wine schools and the UK’s leading viticultural college:
Deeply rooted in our local area, situated across the historic village of Amberley and the historic village of West Chiltington, we are proud to support and champion our local community, by regularly providing donations, offering tasting sessions led by our brand ambassadors, hosting events, and providing support for fundraising activities.
