Meet The Nyetimber Bus, a beautifully reimagined Routemaster that has become one of our most cherished and well-loved assets. Steeped in quintessential English charm, it travels to some of the country’s most celebrated events throughout the year, offering the perfect setting to sit back, relax, and savour a glass of the finest English Sparkling Wine.

RML 2757 is one of London’s most recognisable icons, evoking a nostalgia that inspired us to create something truly memorable. From grand celebrations, including festivities for HM King Charles III’s Coronation, to intimate dinners, The Nyetimber Bus has earned a legendary status all of its own, delighting guests from curious newcomers to passionate automotive enthusiasts alike.

LONDON TRANSPORT

RML 2757 is a true icon of London’s transport history. One of around 2,800 ever built and famed for its bright red livery, this rare long-wheelbase double-decker was the third-to-last Routemaster ever produced. In its time, it carried countless passengers through the capital’s bustling streets, from Trafalgar Square to Hyde Park Corner, each bus clocking over two million miles in service.

THE TRANSFORMATION

First imagined in 2014 and lovingly brought to life in 2015, The Nyetimber Bus was created in partnership with The Bus Business. RML 2757 was painstakingly restored with extraordinary craftsmanship and care, honouring every last detail of the original vehicle’s charm and character.

INTERIOR

On the lower deck, guests can enjoy a glass of Nyetimber at the handcrafted wooden and copper bar, framed by an English oak Union Jack and complemented by bespoke copper fridges and soft leather finishes. Above, the upper deck offers a unique vantage point from which to take in some of the country’s finest events, the roof carefully lifted by four hydraulic systems and mounted on a separate frame, creating an open-air space made for celebration.

PETE AND HIS BUS

Pete Sonneveld is the creative force behind Pete And His Bus, transforming retired Routemaster buses into extraordinary mobile bars. His journey began with a leap of faith, selling everything he owned, including his beloved 1966 Jaguar, to fund his very first build. From that moment, a passion project grew into a thriving business, later celebrated in the Pete And His Bus Youtube channel.
