These terms and conditions govern the purchase of open day tickets which are from time to time made available on the Webstore (‘Open Day Terms’). These Open Day Terms apply together with the Nyetimber Terms and Conditions of Sale, which continue to apply unless they conflict with these Open Day Terms, in which case these Open Day Terms have priority.
Capitalised words used in these Open Day Terms have the same meanings as in our Terms of and Conditions of Sale unless they are defined in these Open Day Terms.
A Nyetimber open day comprises:
Total duration of approximately 2 hours
You will be given tour of the Nyetimber Vineyard located at Gay Street, West Chiltington RH20 2HH comprising an initial welcome talk in our White Barn
You will be given the opportunity to taste some of our English Sparkling Wine in the Medieval Barn
The opportunity to purchase a case (of 6) 75cl Nyetimber bottles of English Sparkling Wine (subject to availability and also subject to a limit in respect of Nyetimber Rose of one (1) bottle per person), against which the value of £50 from the cost of your open day ticket will be deducted from the total purchase price for that case at check out provided that Nyetimber reserves the right to cut short, cancel or change the nature of the open day or locations within the Nyetimber Vineyard, at Nyetimber’s discretion, without notice (‘Open Day’)
You must be 18+ to attend an Open Day.
Tickets for the open day are non-refundable, non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. Tickets will only be refunded where Nyetimber cancels the applicable Open Day, changes the date or reschedules the date of the applicable Open Day.
E-tickets will be issued, no hard copy tickets will be issued. When your booking has been confirmed your tickets will be dispatched via e-mail to the e-mail address you specified. It is your responsibility to check prior to purchase that the information you have supplied to us in respect of your e-ticket requirements is accurate. We are only responsible for issuing e-tickets in accordance with the information you provide.
Open Day tickets are available in limited quantities on a first come first served basis and are only available for purchase at certain times of the year at the discretion of Nyetimber via the Webstore.
Tickets are valid for the date shown on the ticket only.
Tickets do not guarantee car park entry. We advise that you do not drink alcohol if you are the driver in your party attending the Open Day.
All items brought onto the Nyetimber estate, including in those left in your car in our car park, are brought and left entirely at your risk.
For the safety of all visitors and staff, daily visitor numbers at the Nyetimber Vineyard Open Day may be capped to facilitate social distancing. Daily caps may vary and are subject to change at any time.
You agree to comply with all reasonable instructions from Nyetimber staff during your visit, including without limitation those in respect of health and safety.
If your or another guest has an accident or suffers any injury during attendance at the Open Day, please report this as soon as possible to a member of Nyetimber staff and, in any event, within 24 hours of the incident. As well as wanting to check on your wellbeing, this information is needed in order to help us comply with our health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes.
Respecting other members – We ask that all those attending the Open Day respect the privacy and comfort of others throughout the Open Day, particularly with regard to phone calls in the public spaces.
No dogs are not permitted on site, except for assistance dogs notified to Nyetimber in advance of the Open Day.
No smoking or use of e-cigarettes is permitted on site save in designated smoking areas.
Permission must be obtained from Nyetimber for all filming and photography for commercial purposes. You may take photos and film for personal use only.
Please be aware that for safety reasons, we use CCTV across our Nyetimber estate.
When attending the Open Day, you are not permitted to walk around the vineyard or winery (other than where it is part of the formal Open Day activity) without prior consent from Nyetimber staff.
Nyetimber reserves the right to refuse entry into, or remove from the premises, any person (without refund of ticket cost). This includes, but is not limited to, a person who:
Has behaved in a manner which, in the opinion of Nyetimber, has, or is likely to, adversely affect the safety or enjoyment of staff and/or other visitors.
Has used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace or disturb the business operations at the vineyard.
Is, or appears to be, under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
You acknowledge that you will be liable to us for any damage caused by you to the Nyetimber Vineyard or to any of its contents or for any injury caused to any of our staff or representatives or to other visitors during your visit.
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or by that of our employees or any other liability that cannot, as a matter of law be excluded or limited, we exclude our liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered by you or occurring to any items belonging to you as a result of your visit; and our liability to you shall be limited to the price of your Open Day ticket. Under no circumstances will we be liable to you or to any third party for any consequential or indirect loss, damage or expense.
Vouchers can be redeemed against tickets to Open Days. You will lose any unspent part of a voucher if the value of the voucher is more than the cost of the Open Day ticket(s).
