From secret garden soirées to classic summer sports, don’t miss out on our exclusive events, exciting news and insightful reviews. Welcome to the world of Nyetimber…
Landing in the capital earlier this week, The Savoy raised their festivities to a whole new level thanks to the arrival of Reverie, a multi-sensory experience that’s hoping to unite fizz and Christmas lovers. The immersive concept is the brainchild of leading experiential architect, Meredith O’Shaughnessy, who has been inspired by the wonderful works of Art Deco illustrator Kay Nielsen – the mastermind behind the drawings created for Han Christian Andersen’s fairy tales. And this magical element and influence is definitely noticeable from the moment you step inside The Savoy’s Reverie. Immediately you’ll feel as though you’ve wandered into a wonderland, from the forest glade where books become nature and pages become fairies, to the hand-crafted shimmering moon boat.
For the Sparkling wine element, the intense deep blue shining from the starlit night sky in the Thames Foyer will shine a light on English sparkling wine Nyetimber’s 1086 Prestige Cuvée.

This Christmas, English sparkling wine producer Nyetimber is collaborating with expert tablescapers Lay London to create a range of exclusive festive homeware items, available to both buy and rent from 2 November.
Sisters Jemima and Alice Herbert founded Lay London, the city’s first tablescape rental service, to deliver beautiful dinner party looks straight to your door. And for Christmas 2021 the pair have designed tableware items especially for Nyetimber.
Inspired by Nyetimber’s spearmint green Cuvee Chérie bottle foil, the collection comprises a tablecloth, a set of eight napkins, each adorned with a minimalist, hand-printed take on a traditional Christmas tree, and Lay London’s trademark marbled candles in mint and emerald green.

For those friends and family yet to be convinced of English sparkling wine, give them a sparkling education in the form of Nyetimber’s extraordinary 1086 Prestige Cuvee.
No Christmas celebration is complete without a little bubbly, and while there are plenty of boozy gifts you could go with, there’s almost nothing quite as exquisite as English sparkling. Enter Nyetimber, with their most elegant expression and finest release of 1086 Prestige Cuvee Rosé. It’s also a very exclusive and limited bottle which makes it a special gift for someone equally as special. Expect floral aromas, red fruit, cassis, and hints of toasted almonds and freshly baked apple pastry. Other bottles to consider as a gift for someone who is entertaining this season is the Nyetimber Rosé MV or the Nyetimber Classic Cuvee MV which comes with a very festive Christmas gift box.
Brad Greatrix – “If it’s a dinner party, think about wine pairings – no one will expect sommelier-quality stuff, but your local wine shop will be able to make suggestions based on your menu. I’d go for a chilled sparkling wine to start followed by crowd-pleasing whites and reds, and something interesting to accompany dessert, like a sweet demi-sec – our Cuvee Chérie is ideal. Just make sure you have plenty of ice buckets to keep everything chilled.”
Released from Britain’s premier sparkling wine, Nyetimber, will launch the Christmas Gift Box, which adds British elegance to the 2021 holiday season.
The Gift Box depicts such a beautiful and lively Christmas scene in London, with London landmarks such as Big Ben, Tower of London and the London Eye in the background, a gift box with beautifully shining snowflakes and the Nyetimber logo is perfect for home parties and special occasions with loved ones.

From the west Sussex vineyard this bottle is one of the best English sparklers available. Made from the single vintage, it is the first style ever produced by Nyetimber back in the Nineties, and is still holding strong thirty years later. Made from 100 per cent chardonnay grapes, but here, it’s not what you expect and is far more sophisticated on the pallet . It’s light – both in colour and taste – as well as being slightly floral and fresh, and is miles away from the usual over-oaked styles of the grape that’s so strongly associated with the chardonnay. It’s a perfect Christmas morning bottle that’s not too heavy and will certainly set the day off right, or alternatively crack it open for some canapes at a drinks party. All of Nyetimber’s wines are vegan, too.
Situated in the rural heart of the south, Nyetimber Manor Vineyard – a world-renowned wine makers – have produced a light and elegant English wine.
The fizz is produced by the traditional method from the classic varieties of chardonnay, pinot Noir and pinot Meunier and has notes of honey, almond and apple.
‘A very special English sparkling wine rivaling any champagne, this wine was fermented in old oak barrels before being aged for 2-3 years in a bottle,’ explained Brodie.
‘All Nyetimber vineyards are located in the lee of the South Downs which affords them shelter from the coastal winds and have been purposefully planted south facing to make the most of the sun’
By Lisa Denning
“Nyetimber winery, situated in the rural heart of southern England, is considered one of the country’s top producers of traditional method sparkling wine; often lauded by wine critics like Jancis Robinson who said, in a 2016 article on her website that Nyetimber can now “take on Krug.” Thirty five years ago it wouldn’t have been possible to make wine of this calibre in England—the weather was simply too cold. But today, due to the effects of climate change and rising temperatures, England has become a part of the world’s wine conversation, particularly when it comes to sparkling wine.”
Bringing you the most wanted luxury pieces worth splurging on, every day.
Happy Friday! Kick off the weekend with a bottle of bubbles from Nyetimber, who has just release a new Blanc de Blancs vintage from the 2014 harvest. The bottle is the first style ever produced at Nyetimber, marking the start of its pioneering journey in the early 1990s. Characterised by notes of baked lemon and white peach with a fresh, crisp acidity, the Blanc de Blancs vintage is perfect for any party you have coming up (even if it’s just to celebrate the end to a long week).
Each of the Nyetimber offerings is a classic in its own right, and distinctive enough to justify the broad, ambitious range. The Classic Cuvee plays things with a straight bat — fine golden bubbles with toasty, spiced notes — before apple strudel flavours and a touch of the old almond croissant sing through. The Blanc de Blancs is the very spirit of elegance herself, its fragrant honeysuckle flirting with white peach and leavened with a fresh, zesty acidity. The Cuvee Chérie, meanwhile, is a wine with notes of honeyed apricot and an almost savoury finish, which does its best work after a forkful of decent pudding. But it’s the Tillington Single Vineyard that, in my opinion, seems to triumphantly steal the show — a shimmering, pale gold wine with toasted meringue caught in its bubbles, and beguiling notes of fine strawberry and mandarin on the palette. It is the perfect and most pleasing reminder of what the very best sparkling wines can be. But more than this, it is a wonderful evocation of the fields and trees and gentle slopes around us — a place always green, ever pleasant, and unmistakably English.
If you want to make your wedding present extra special then why not pair the set of Champagne flutes with a bottle of something that they can drink from their new glasses. Of course, traditional Champagne is always appreciated, but if you want to give a more unique wedding gift, Nyetimber’s Blanc de Blancs is a really impressive gift. With its elegant bottle and the warm yet crisp Chardonnay base, this bottle will be a gift that they’ll treasure for a special occasion
Welcome to Nyetimber. Before we get started, we just need to get the legal bit out of the way.
