English sparkling wine recently triumphed over Champagne at blind tasting conducted by Noble Rot Magazine.

Nyetimber Classic Cuvee 2010 beat some of the world’s best known Champagnes, gaining high critical acclaim from the event’s organisers and panel of esteemed judges.

Victoria Moore, Wine Columnist of the Year at The Telegraph, commented on the Classic Cuvee 2010 following the tasting:

“One of the most confident and easy-to-approach sparkling wines in this country. This has a smooth, creamy taste and a “hello, it must be the evening” glow to it. I’ve been wondering if this is the English sparkler that Bond would drink.”
