Indulge with an at-home spa day
The phrase ‘self-care’ has certainly proved popular in 2020 and with good reason. Ensure you stay rested and recharged by making time for yourself, even if just for half an hour. Step away from technology and headlines, enjoy some of your favourite music, an aromatic candle, a face mask you’ve perhaps had hidden away and never found time to try or an indulgent soak in a relaxing bath with oils. Whatever your chosen method of pampering, sometimes even the process of discovering your favourite way to unwind can be incredibly rewarding, especially if it’s capped off with a glass of one of our award-winning English Sparkling Wines.
Curl up with a book or show and 1086, perhaps even one of our Nyetimber blankets
For those less spa-orientated, we propose a relaxing evening of quiet contemplation with our prestige cuvee 1086, the first prestige cuvee sparkling wine to be released in England. Immerse yourself in a favourite or newly released book or film, while savouring this remarkable wine. Complex and indulgent with alluring aromas of honey, pastry and roasted nuts provide the perfect partner to an evening in.
For an added touch of comfort, why not wrap yourself in one of our cosy Nyetimber blankets? Seen on the roof terraces of many of the UK’s most notable addresses, we are delighted to be able to offer them on sale now within our Winter Sparkling Case.
Cheer on INEOS Team UK with a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee
It may seem a world away but over in New Zealand, INEOS Team UK have begun their challenge for the America’s Cup 2021 and we are proud to support them. The race to qualify and then go head to head against previous cup winners New Zealand, starts with the Prada Cup qualifying races
After a tricky pre-race testing season, Ben Ainslie and the rest of his team have had a truly exceptional start, winning all the first 4 of their 8 round robin races so far against fellow challenger teams from the US and Italy. Should they win the remaining round robin races they will secure a direct spot in the Prada Cup final which could put them in fantastic standing for qualifying for the America’s Cup.
Discover your perfect pairing and experiment with new and unexpected food pairings
At Nyetimber we are known for producing elegant wines with subtle but complex flavours. Our signature qualities of beautifully assembled fruit aromas, gentle pastry notes and a masterfully integrated acidity with a delicate mousse make them an ideal complement to a wide range of dishes. With extra time at home and so much incredible produce being offered by local growers, this is an ideal moment to discover some of our favourite pairings or to experiment and find your new preferred combination.
2013 Tillington Single Vineyard brings together aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries, reminiscent of British summer fruits, with complex flavours of toasted almonds, pastry and praline. The wine has a refreshing acidity but a decadent and structured finish that complements slightly meatier fish and crustaceans such as monkfish, lobster or turbot.
Cuvee Chérie MV is a wine that beautifully balances sweetness and acidity. On the nose, enjoy aromas of lemon and honey with a hint of tangerine. On the palate, notes of baked apple are set off by a crisp acidity. The slight mineral and citrus-filled finish is an ideal counter to sweeter delights such as meringues, strawberries and cream. Perfect for afternoon tea as well as, for the more adventurous, spiced and aromatic cuisine.
The 2010 Nyetimber 1086 Rosé is silky and elegant, evoking floral, cassis and red fruit aromas. With a wonderful progression of flavours and a great tension between fruit and structure with a persistent complex finish. Best paired with duck, guinea fowl, salmon, chicken or langoustine.
