Last week at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), we were honoured to be awarded the English Wine Producer of the Year.
London’s Guildhall played host to the 47th Annual IWSC Awards Banquet, where winemakers, retailers and sommeliers gathered to celebrate the exceptional range of wine and spirits produced across the globe. This prestigious event shined a spotlight on the industry’s finest, with awards going to producers, retailers, importers and innovators who have made an outstanding contribution to the wine and spirit world over the past year. The IWSC Awards are always an important date in our calendar, so we were thrilled to receive the English Producer of the Year for the second time in three years.
At the IWSC 2016, we were also awarded the Bottle Fermented Sparkling Wine Trophy and a Gold Outstanding medal for our Classic Cuvee 2009 Magnum, as well as a Gold medal for our Blanc de Blancs 2009. Our Rosé Multi-Vintage and our Demi-Sec Multi-Vintage also did well, taking Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
Spirits were high with such a fantastic occasion to raise a glass. Thank you to IWSC for the accolade, and for a truly memorable evening.
