Nyetimber at Glyndebourne
This weekend, Glyndebourne Festival begins, and Nyetimber will be providing the perfect toast to an incredible season of opera. Nyetimber will be served and savoured alongside a world-class programme of performances, including the iconic Madama Butterfly and Der Rosenkavalier. With six operas making up the festival year on year, Glyndebourne has been delighting audiences since 1934 when Glyndebourne’s founders, John Christie and wife Audrey Mildmay, opened the first Festival in 1934. Today, Glyndebourne reaches around 150,000 people a year with over 120 live opera performances, commissioning a wealth of inspirational directors, world-class orchestras and performers.
If you’re heading to Glyndebourne this summer, be sure to enjoy a glass of our award-winning sparkling wine as part of a delicious picnic in the stunning Glyndebourne gardens or at the Long Bar. Discover more about Glyndebourne by visiting their website.
