Celebrating 125 years of Dogs Trust at Annabel’s

This year marks the 125th birthday of Dogs Trust.

Since 1891, the charity has offered invaluable care and services for dogs in the UK, providing training classes, microchipping services and advice for new and existing owners. Dogs Trust works tirelessly 365 days a year, relying on fundraising and the generosity of its volunteers to provide much-needed care and comfort to dogs that have been abandoned and mistreated. With up to 1500 dogs housed in their centres across the country, rehoming is a core focus of Dogs Trust. Striving to ensure that no healthy dog is ever put down, this remarkable charity aims to rehome each dog within 6 weeks of arrival, placing over 17,000 dogs annually into loving new homes.

Dogs Trust celebrated their impressive milestone with a fundraising dinner at the iconic Annabel’s in Mayfair. After enjoying a Nyetimber reception, guests raised funds via a live auction, hosted with panache by Sotheby’s Lord Harry Dalmeny. Present in support of this remarkable charity were celebrities and professionals from a variety of industries, including foodie Jasmine Hemsley, comedian Johnny Vegas and model Vogue Williams. A love of animals united everyone at the occasion.

Our warmest congratulations to Dogs Trust on their 125 years of incredible work.
