In September, the very best up-and-coming talent of the British food and drink scene congregated at the historical home of Searcys, 30 Pavilion Road in Knightsbridge, for the annual Young British Foodies awards (YBFs).
The YBFs aim to recognise the abundance of artisan bakers, chefs and farmers who are committed to producing the finest British food and drink. From cheffing to food sharing, the YBFs celebrate the outstanding achievements of these young pioneers, shining a spotlight on their contribution to the industry and supporting their continued success.
Judged by some of the most respected foodie names including Yotam Ottolenghi, Lily Vanilli, Melissa Hemsley and Clerkenwell Boy, the event was a showcase of the finest food and drink talent. The evening began with a Nyetimber reception in the famous art deco bar, followed by a sparkling awards ceremony.
Those shortlisted were divided into categories such as Street Food, Meat and Baking, with the winners being chosen due to their extraordinary contribution to their particular sector and the industry as a whole. Our warmest congratulations to those shortlisted, as well as the wonderful winners on the night.
