Each bottle represents a tree planted.
In support of the South Downs National Park Trust, we are proud to release a limited edition Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage.
The bottle features a beautifully bespoke neck and back label with distinctive Elm tree design.
Forests and woodland in the UK are at risk of demise due to the ongoing impact of pests and serious diseases. Dedicated to giving back to the environment, Nyetimber has partnered with the South Downs National Park Trust to support their replanting project ‘Trees for the Downs’.
For every bottle of Nyetimber’s limited edition Classic Cuvee with unique Elm tree design sold, a tree will be planted as part of the initiative.
Experts believe Ash dieback disease could result in the loss of over 90% of Britain’s ash trees in the next decade, while Dutch elm disease has already seen the loss of 60 million British elms across two epidemics and continues to spread today.
Nyetimber is a long-standing supporter of the South Downs National Park Trust and is pleased to support this important local cause, especially given that many of our vineyards benefit from the sheltering effect of the South Downs, with our Amberley vineyard situated on the South Downs themselves.
Nyetimber is committed to contributing 1,000 trees of the 100,000 trees to be planted by this important campaign, which aims to restore a significant number of trees that have been gradually lost over the years back into the British landscape.
Listen to Brad Greatrix speak about this partnership on BBC Sussex radio.
