Knowing that our wines are often poured during life’s most celebratory moments fills us with immense pride. It is our great honour to champion and support the athletes of Team GB during this momentous occasion.
We raise a glass to everything that has gone into this achievement: every early start, every late night, and every enduring step along the journey. We know that excellence isn’t achieved overnight, which is why we celebrate the years of dedication, determination and unwavering commitment that have brought Team GB to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Recognising that, much like nurturing our vines and wines, achieving excellence in sports requires years of patience, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering determination.
We are proud to be at the heart of Team GB’s celebrations. Join us in raising a glass to the journey as they make their way towards Paris 2024, and to the joyous moments shared during the Games.
Rowing is in Ollie’s blood, a legacy passed down from his grandfather, David Christie, and his great-grandfather, Harold Rickett, both of whom rowed for Cambridge, with his great-grandfather also competing in the 1932 Summer Olympics. Ollie has upheld this legacy, honing his own skills at Yale and Cambridge universities.
Honouring this rich heritage, his journey has been one marked by remarkable dedication, leading to a bronze medal at Tokyo 2020. Alongside his childhood friend Tom George, Ollie has consistently reached the podium at all five major championships throughout the Paris Olympiad. Together, the duo showcase their enduring teamwork and combined skill.
A Princeton and Cambridge University alumnus, Tom’s journey in rowing is one marked by power, precision, and record-breaking performance. In 2020, Tom made history by becoming the first British rower to break 5 minutes and 40 seconds for the 2km erg, setting both an indoor rowing world record and the UK record. His reputation for excellence was further solidified as part of the men’s eight that won Olympic bronze at Tokyo 2020.
Competing alongside his childhood friend Ollie Wynne-Griffith, Tom has consistently graced the podium at major championships, demonstrating the duo’s enduring partnership and prowess in the sport.
Joe Choong’s journey from a national level swimmer and keen rugby player to an Olympic gold medalist in modern pentathlon is a story of exceptional talent and versatility. Awarded an MBE in 2022, Joe made history by winning gold at Tokyo 2020, becoming the first Team GB athlete to medal in the men’s individual event since its inception in 1912.
