On 24 and 25 November, we arrived in Hampshire for the Winchester Wine Festival.
Susie Barrie and Peter Richards – two of the world’s 350 Masters of Wine – founded the event, held in the stunning neo-Gothic Winchester Guildhall. Known for their frequent appearances on BBC 1’s Saturday Kitchen, Susie and Peter mingled with guests, sharing their knowledge and passion for discovering the finest wines.
Tastings took place throughout the festival, offering ticket holders a chance to sample over 300 wines from around the world. English wine was a focus of this year’s Winchester Wine Festival, and we were delighted to be able to showcase Nyetimber wines to all who visited us. Masterclasses, live music, delicious food and a prize draw were among the highlights of the weekend, as well as the innovative Follow Your Taste scheme, which helped guide wine-lovers through the range of exquisite wines available.
The dates for next year’s Winchester Wine Festival have already been confirmed, so find out more about what 2017 will have to offer here.
Don’t forget to follow Nyetimber on Twitter and Instagram for news and updates on future events.
