The Nyetimber Summer Lodges at The Alpina Gstaad

Bringing some English sparkle to the Swiss mountains this summer, Nyetimber is launching a series of pop-up lodges at The Alpina Gstaad. The three exclusive Nyetimber Summer Lodges will open at the alpine five-star hotel on 6 July 2019, serving up England’s finest sparkling wine.

Located in the garden of one of the world’s most prestigious hotels, each lodge will capture the spirit of three unique Nyetimber cuvees; Classic Cuvee, Rosé, and Cuvee Chérie Demi-Sec, providing a distinctive and sophisticated setting in which to relax and celebrate with loved ones and friends. Open from 10.00am – 9.00pm, The Nyetimber Summer Lodges will provide The Alpina Gstaad guests with a chance to enjoy a glass of Nyetimber’s award-winning collection of sparkling wines during the heat of the day, or as the sun sets over the majestic Bernese Alps.

Featuring 56 rooms and suites, The Alpina Gstaad nestles in 20 hectares of park grounds just above the charming village of Gstaad. The hotel’s Six Senses Spa features a Himalaya Salt Grotto, Hammam Steam Room as well as indoor and outdoor pools.

Curated by Executive Chef Martin Göschel, specially created food and wine packages will complete the experience, including delights from the hotel’s internationally recognised and Michelin star award-winning restaurants, Megu and Sommet, as well as The Alpina Lounge Bar.

Each Nyetimber Summer Lodge will house a ‘Push For Nyetimber Button’ presenting an instant and playful way to serve a glass of England’s finest sparkling wine.

The Nyetimber Summer Lodges at The Alpina Gstaad will be open from 6 July – 22 September. Cuvees available will include Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage, Rosé Multi-Vintage, Cuvee Chérie Demi-Sec Multi-Vintage, Tillington Single Vineyard 2013, Blanc de Blancs 2013, as well as the renowned prestige cuvees 1086 White 2009 and 1086 Rosé 2010.
