The Nyetimber Manor launches at Selfridges Rooftop

This week sees the launch of The Nyetimber Manor, an elegant terrace atop the Selfridges Oxford Street store, bringing the feel of a genteel English country house to the beating heart of London from the 3^rd to the 30^th of June.

Swathed in decadent décor and beautiful seasonal blooms, The Nyetimber Manor is the perfect summer setting to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and savour a glass of Nyetimber’s world-renowned sparkling wine during the heat of the day or as the sun sets over the London skyline.

Guests enter The Nyetimber Manor through a corridor laden with floral frames of delphiniums and hydrangeas, before arriving at the terrace which is dotted with obelisks brimming with trailing jasmine and clematis in elegant dusky blue and soft pinks. The terrace area features trellises laden with foliage and climbing ivy, and two elegant private pagodas offer the ultimate bucolic retreat for groups of up to 8 people.

The menu for The Nyetimber Manor showcases five different Nyetimber cuvees; Classic Cuvee, Rosé, Blanc de Blancs 2013, Cuvee Chérie and Tillington Single Vineyard 2013. Produced from vineyards across the counties of Sussex, Hampshire and Kent, Nyetimber’s wines are known for their elegance, delicacy and subtle flavours. Blessed with crisp, clear acidity due to the cool climate conditions in the South of England, the wines are also perfect accompaniments to many dishes and alongside each cuvee are suggested food pairings from the alto by San Carlo menu, including; Classic Cuvee MV with rock oysters or Rosé MV with grilled Mediterranean prawns.

The Nyetimber Manor at Selfridges Rooftop is open Monday to Friday from 3^rd – 30^th June.

The Nyetimber Manor is located in Selfridges’ roof top restaurant, alto by San Carlo. Access is via the express lift from the Ground Floor of Selfridges, Oxford Street, London.
