Stella McCartney Menswear Launch

One Thursday night in November, we arrived at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios to join fashion icon Stella McCartney for the launch of her first ever menswear collection.

The evening was an exciting fusion of fashion and music, with guests treated to a presentation of the Stella McCarthney womenswear SS17 collection as well as the unveiling of her much-anticipated menswear range.

A star-studded guest list filled the venue, with the likes of Kate Moss, Orlando Bloom, Twiggy, Tracey Emin and Anna Friel enjoying perfectly chilled glasses of Nyetimber.

The models arrived on a double decker bus (much like our own 1968 Routemaster, The Nyetimber), sauntering towards the studios over the iconic Abbey Road zebra crossing made famous by The Beatles. Showcasing the new collections, this original take on the fashion show format was a nod to British popular culture, both past and present.

The show took place to a soundtrack of music from DJs and musicians worthy of a top music venue, including Basement Jaxx, Beth Ditto, Mike D of the Beastie Boys, and Sharleen Spiteri.

The new SS17 collection and Stella McCartney menswear range will be available from the 1st December.
