Official Winery Sponsor of the ICCWS 2016

Nyetimber was proud to be an Official Winery Sponsor of the International Cool Climate Wine Symposium (ICCWS). The ICCWS brought together the world’s leading producers and experts in cool climate viticulture, winemaking, research and promotion for two days of knowledge sharing and discussion.

Running from 26th to 28th May in Brighton, the ICCWS hosted a series of seminars, workshops and tasting masterclasses for the 2016 symposium. As part of the programme, our head winemaker, Cherie Spriggs, was a delegate speaker at the event and hosted a workshop tasting of ‘pre-disgorgement’ aging: development of sparkling wines aging on-point versus on-lees.

After a great few days spent with the global wine community, Nyetimber is excited to play its part in shaping the future of cool climate winemaking alongside other respected wine producers.
