Nyetimber’s Inaugural Open Day

It was our absolute pleasure to open our doors to the people that support us year round. The Open day consisted of a greeting and small speech on the history of the estate and vineyard in The White Barn, followed by an in depth guided tour of the oldest Chardonnay vines in England, after which people were seated in our Medieval Barn for a winemaker hosted tasting of our Classic Cuvee 2009, Rosé 2009, and our Demi-Sec. Even an area wide power cut, plunging the Medieval Barn into atmospheric candle light, didn’t darken the mood, as all those present said what a wonderful time they had. We hope to see more of you at next year’s event!
