On Friday 2 December, our beautiful 1968 Routemaster Bus, The Nyetimber, pulled up at London’s historic Old Spitalfields Market for a weekend of Christmas celebrations. Situated in the heart of the market, The Nyetimber and our Winter Garden offered the perfect setting for shoppers to take a break from the Christmas rush and enjoy a perfectly chilled glass of Nyetimber.
From aboard The Nyetimber or from the comfort of our Winter Garden, guests could savour our Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage, Blanc de Blancs 2009, Rosé Multi-Vintage and Demi-Sec Multi-Vintage – all available by the bottle or glass. Our Brand Ambassadors were on hand to offer their recommendations and tasting notes on our wines.
On Friday evening, guests lucky enough to be seated aboard the top deck of the bus enjoyed a wonderful view of the sparkling Christmas lights switch on across Old Spitalfields Market. The countdown was accompanied by music from a live band, performing festive classics for the enjoyment of the crowd that had gathered to raise a glass to the occasion.
A series of Nyetimber masterclasses led by our Brand Ambassadors also took place throughout the weekend, offering guests an opportunity to learn a little more about the nuances of each bottle, and the history of Nyetimber.
The Nyetimber at Spitalfields was a fabulous way to kick start the most wonderful time of the year, so thank you to all who joined us for a glass (or two!) of Nyetimber across the weekend. We are very much looking forward to announcing where #TheNyetimber will be pulling up throughout 2017 very soon.
