Nyetimber is awarded English Sparkling Trophy at the International Wine Challenge 2020

November has become a month for positive news at Nyetimber. In addition to the results from the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Challenge, we are also pleased to have been recognised by the International Wine Challenge 2020.

Nyetimber Classic Cuvee 2010 in Magnum and Tillington Single Vineyard 2013 have both been awarded with Gold (a score of over 95 our of 100 possible points). In addition to this, Classic Cuvee 2010 was also awarded the Vintage Classic Blend English Sparkling Trophy and the overall English Sparkling Trophy.

Judged by a highly esteemed panel of experts from the international wine industry which this year featured: Tim Atkin MW, Oz Clarke, Dr. Jamie Goode, Charles Metcalfe, Peter McCombie MW and Helen McGinn; this is fantastic recognition of the hard work of our winemaking and vineyard teams.
