For the month of August, we’re delighted to announce that The Ned will be serving a Nyetimber Afternoon Tea in Millie’s Lounge. To celebrate Afternoon Tea Week, every Afternoon Tea served between the 10th–16th August will come with a complimentary glass of our Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage.
In the heart of the City, in what was once the Midland Bank’s head office, The Ned brings together Ned’s Club, a private members’ space, gym and rooftop, a spa, ten distinct restaurants and bars, and 248 hotel bedrooms. Its incredible grand banking hall is home to Millie’s Lounge, a British restaurant and bar celebrated for its classic dishes, thoughtfully curated wine list, craft ales and inventive cocktails.
The Nyetimber Afternoon Tea menu leans into patisserie as much as nostalgia, featuring a raspberry and vanilla Battenberg wrapped in persipan, a blueberry tartelette with cheesecake cream and shortbread, a chocolate Sacher log with apricot ganache and a strawberry Eton Mess roulade made for summer, alongside a selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
Our Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage pairs beautifully with both the sweet and savoury treats on offer. Notes of honey, almond, pastry and baked apple make it the perfect aperitif to begin with, complementing each bite throughout.
Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Friday from 2pm–5pm and Saturday from 12pm–5pm. Table bookings can be made via The Ned’s website.
