THE DINING EXPERIENCE
This is a rare chance to visit the historic Nyetimber Estate as we open our doors for an exceptional evening. Dine in our 15th Century Medieval Barn, where you will enjoy a five-course dinner paired with our world-renowned English Sparkling Wines.
We are excited to welcome Chef Steven Edwards back to curate an exclusive pairing menu designed to complement our cuvees. We don’t want to spoil the surprise, but anticipate Jerusalem Artichoke infused with Cep, Grilled Monkfish accompanied by Leeks and a luscious Beurre Blanc Sauce, Guinea Fowl, and a Granny Smith Apple Parfait with Apple Sorbet, Marigold Marshmallows, and a delicate Shortbread Crumble.
Your evening will begin at 6.30pm, where you will be greeted with a welcome glass of Nyetimber and canapés on arrival to the Estate’s White Barn. You will then move to the Medieval Barn for dinner, where Steven and a Nyetimber Brand Ambassador will introduce each course and the accompanying sparkling wine whilst you enjoy this perfectly British pairing.

Steven Edwards
Steven is best known for winning the 6th series of MasterChef: The Professionals in 2013 becoming one of the youngest ever winners of the competition at the age of 26. Double Michelin starred chef Michel Roux Jnr. commented: “His food is lovely. He makes food that is great to eat, expertly cooked, presented with a certain elegance, clean lines, and it works — fault-free.”
Previous to MasterChef Steven trained with some of the country’s leading chefs including Raymond Blanc, Andrew McNaughton & Chris Wheeler before moving to Horsham in 2008 joining the brigade at South Lodge Hotel – a five star country house hotel in the heart of Sussex. After 6 years at South Lodge, Steven left to set up his own company and restaurant called Etch.
In March 2020 Steven opened his second restaurant, this time in London. Steven Edwards @ The Bingham Riverhouse is in the heart of Richmond overlooking the Thames and is the perfect location to show off Steven’s food. Different to etch. Steven has created an A la carte menu that is nostalgic, fun & have a real purity of flavour. Both etch. & Steven Edwards Riverhouse have quickly established themselves as leading restaurants on the South Coast and have received praise from diners and critics alike. Steven & his restaurants have won countless awards and have been featured in the Michelin guide since 2017 and have held 3AA rosettes at both restaurants since 2020.
Our nearest train stations are Pulborough and Billingshurst – we’d recommend booking a local taxi in advance from the station.
If you are travelling by car please come to Nyetimber Vineyard, Gay Street, West Chiltington, West Sussex, RH20 2HH. (If using SatNav please ignore any instruction onto Lower Jordan’s Lane, continue on Gay Street until you see the Nyetimber sign).
Parking is free at Nyetimber, where it is only a short walk to the White Barn where you will begin the tour.
